We just returned from a chilly weekend camping on the property in Jasper and winter has pretty much set in. The leaves are all but gone and the woods have really opened up. Currently, the creeks are dried up but one small spring is still trickling away. During this time of year the surrounding mountains look really nice. All of the different rock formations and hills can be easily seen now. From certain spots on the place long distance views of at least a mile or two away can be seen thru the open tree tops.
We took a short drive to Ponca and walked on the low water bridge and checked out the icy cold crystal clear waters of the Buffalo river. The elk museum there is also a place to stop and have a look around. Also, the new FSBO sign has finally been nailed to a tree near the entrance. Interested folks are welcome to contact us to set up a look around the place.
